有天一位老太太上銀行，總裁問她想要存多少錢？老太太就把那袋錢倒在總裁的桌上，說是US$165,000。
總裁當然很好奇那些錢是怎麼來的，他問老太太：「女士，我很驚訝妳帶著那麼多的現金，這些錢是怎麼來的？」老太太說：「我跟人打賭贏來的。」
總裁：「打賭，怎麼個賭法？」 老太太說：「舉個例子好了，我賭US$25,000說你的"蛋蛋"是方的。」
「哈！」總裁大笑說：「那真的是個愚蠢的賭注，這種賭注妳永遠都贏不了。」
老太太就跟他挑戰說：「那你敢跟我賭嗎？」總裁就說：「沒問題，我賭$25,000說我的"蛋蛋"不是方的。」
老太太說：「既然這是一筆大賭注，明天早上十點我可以帶我的律師當見證人嗎？」總裁當然是很有自信的說沒問題。
當天晚上，總裁花了很長的時間在鏡子前面檢查自己的"蛋蛋"，左照右照，直到他確定絕對不可能變成方型，而且他絕對可以贏得25,000的賭注。
第二天早上十點，老太太和她的律師依約到達總裁的辦公室，老太太介紹她的律師跟總裁認識，並且重複他們的賭注「US$25,000賭總裁的“蛋蛋”是方的」！
總裁再次同意賭注之後，老太太就要求總裁把褲子脫下來。總裁照做了，老太太靠近一直盯著看並問說可不可以摸摸看。
總裁有點免為其難，但是他還是答應了說：「好吧，US$25,000是一大筆錢，妳當然會想完全的確認。」
就在老太太在摸總裁的"蛋蛋"的時候，總裁看到老太太的律師正在一旁不停的拿自己的頭撞牆。
他就問老太太說：「妳那個律師怎麼啦？」老太太說：「沒什麼，只是我跟他賭了US100,000說在今天早上十點的時候，加拿大銀行總裁的"蛋蛋"會被我摸著玩。」

這看似誇張的情節，雖然在現實中是不太可能出現，但現實中有許多人卻常常扮演著律師與總裁的角色，任由那些扮演老太太的人從我們身上賺取他們所需要的事物而不自知。
而這種情況在投資市場上尤其常見。例如，在房地產上，房仲業者炒作屋價，先灌輸民眾「當房東賺錢、房價會隨都市更新、捷運、百貨公司…等因素飆漲」、還有投資回本快…等觀念，先將房屋賣給一般民眾賺上一筆。
有些人買屋後轉售，真的賺到錢，就像笑話中的總裁，雖然自己不過是老太太手中的棋子，但卻也真的賺到了一筆不小的財富。
而有些人買屋後，卻遲遲轉賣不出去，房價也沒如同房仲所言飆漲，最後被房貸壓的喘不過氣只好被迫低價賣出甚至淪為法拍，成為笑話中的律師一般慘賠。
成功，不是只有單靠努力，而是需要有個目標，然後規劃、佈局、執行、努力實施方有機會成功。
就如同笑話中的老太太在打賭前已經先將整個流程規劃好，接著佈局讓律師與總裁上勾，在這樣的賭局中，律師深信銀行總裁具有一定的威信，怎麼可能讓人玩蛋蛋。
而總裁也深信，自己的蛋蛋並不是方的，也不可能是方的，在這樣的賭局裡自己必勝。
但最後的結果卻是…老太太大獲全勝，律師慘賠，而總裁表面上看似也賺到一筆錢，但在被人耍的情況下，形象、威信早已蕩然無存。
所以囉，所謂十賭九騙阿，這就是奉勸大家，千萬不要賭，因為賭博贏的永遠都是出老千的那位。
最後，談到賭博，笑遊人間在這介紹大家一部不錯的日本卡通「賭博默示錄」，這部卡通也有翻拍成電影喔，名稱一樣也叫賭博默示錄。
當中的主角，因欠債而接觸到一個財團，這個財團聚集了許多欠債的人，表面上是讓他們聚在一起競賽，贏家不但能還清債務，還能賺到一筆為數不小的財富。
實際上，這群社會底層的人不過是財團娛樂賓客及賺錢的一種工具罷了，只有少數的人能奇跡的從這裡離去，而大部份的輸家最後的結局是死亡或是淪為地下囚犯一輩子在地底下工作。
主角在這場遊戲裡，深刻體會到，成功是需要經過種種巧妙的安排，成功的路上也隨處充滿陷阱，稍有疏忽，便會陷入萬劫不復的地獄。
這部卡通說出了很多人性與社會險惡的一面，看完後相信大家會有很深的省思。

In keeping with its status as a rising global superpower, China is showing off its new wealth with an increasing number of landmark buildings.
But this could be the most incredible yet. The 27-storey Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort, looms over the skyline of Huzhou, near Shanghai, in the shape of a massive glowing dounut.
Set on the shores of Lake Taihu and offering 321 spacious guest rooms, including 44 suites and 39 villas, it's an ideal destination for China's newly affluent business class.

The Sheraton website boasts that visitors to their latest hotel can see some of the areas top attractions and, perhaps more crucially, 'gather with those who matter'.

Known as 'The City of Silk', the ancient metropolis is situated on the southern shores of Lake Taihu in the northern part of Zheijang Province. It is hailed as the birthplace of the Far East's famous tea culture.
Guests to the Sheraton Huzhou will stay in the most opulent surroundings.

While the hotel, which is designed by Beijing-born architect Ma Yanson, appears in the shape of a horseshoe the bottom ends are in fact connected by two basement levels.

There are three restaurants, catering for tastes both domestic and international, each with private rooms, and informal liaisons can be conducted over cocktails of coffee in one of the two lounges.
